Aidan Hutchinson literally “noped” right out of a sticky situation he found himself in at training camp. And no, it wasn’t a tough double team or a crack back from the slot receiver.

Even worse. It was a Michigan State fan.

Hutchinson, who was a Heisman Trophy finalist for the Michigan Wolverines and one of the better players in U-M history, was approached by a fan at Lions’ training camp who had some sarcastic intentions in mind. Even better, that fan was the son of Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel, so this high-profile rejection was shared for everyone to see.

Nessel’s son asked Hutchinson to sign a football, which of course, Hutchinson happily approached to do. Until that is, the Detroit Lions rookie realized the football was branded for the Spartans.

And then came the “nope”.

For what it’s worth, Nessel is a graduate of the University of Michigan, so she’s presumably a Wolverines fan.

Her son? Likely not so much.
