Aidan Hutchinson has been a key part of the resurgence of the Detroit Lions since his arrival in 2022.

The Lions improved to 8-2 with a 31-26 win over the Chicago Bears on Sunday, giving them a 2-game lead in the NFC North. They’re in prime position to win a 1st division title since finishing 1st in the old NFC Central in 1993.

Hutchinson was active defensively, making 6 tackles while being credited with a sack for a safety. The sack gave him 15.0 on the year to go along with 4 career interceptions, the first player with that stat line in league history through 2 seasons.

Detroit’s win on Sunday was its 3rd in a row. It had 9 wins all of last season and is in very good shape to reach double-digit victories for the 1st time since an 11-5 record in 2014.

The Lions next play in their annual Thanksgiving Day game as they host the Green Bay Packers at Ford Field, a 12:30 p.m. ET kickoff from the Motor City.
