Before he hears his name called at the NFL Draft next week, former Michigan defensive end Aidan Hutchinson will be on the baseball diamond.
Hutchinson revealed on Twitter that he’ll be throwing out the ceremonial first pitch at an upcoming Detroit Tigers home game. It will take place on Friday, Aprill 22 when the Tigers host the Colorado Rockies.
First pitch is scheduled for 7:10 p.m. ET.

After a dominant campaign in 2021, Hutchinson is expected to be one of the first names called in the 2022 NFL Draft. In several mock drafts, the former Wolverines is projected as the top overall pick.
Hutchinson ended the year as the B1G’s sack leader, tallying 14 for the season. He also piled up 62 tackles, 12 quarterback hurries, 3 pass break-ups and 2 forced fumbles.
Michigan closed the season with a 12-2 record and its first B1G title under Jim Harbaugh. The Wolverines also made their first-ever appearance in the College Football Playoff.
The 2022 NFL Draft is scheduled for Thursday, April 28 through Saturday, April 30.
