Aidan O’Connell finished off the 2021 season by breaking a Purdue school record for quarterbacks.
The Boilermakers’ gunslinger is now the leader in single-season completion percentage, ending the season with a completion rate of 71.8%. He now has the best completion percentage by any Purdue quarterback, topping the likes of David Blough, Mark Hermann, and Robert Marve.
Purdue’s football account on Twitter confirmed the broken record with a post about it on Tuesday.
