Maryland’s big-play offense caught fire in East Lansing!
The Terrapins are taking on Michigan State on the road and looking to end the season on a high note. With a record of 3-8, Maryland does not have a shot at a bowl game. However, Mike Locksley’s squad can keep the Spartans out of a bowl with a win.
For much of the game, Maryland’s defense has stifled the Spartan offense. It is a good showing on the road, and it opened the door for the offense.
On this play, Anthony McFarland was able to hit the corner on a sweep. After getting outside, McFarland hit the jets and raced down the sideline.
No one could catch him as McFarland rumbled 63 yards for the score and the lead for the Terrapins:
