AP announces 2024 preseason All-Americans: B1G lands 8 on first team; Ohio State leads all with 4

The 2024 preseason is winding down. College football is back on Saturday, with a 4-game Week 0 slate highlighted by Florida State vs. Georgia Tech in Dublin, Ireland.

With the season almost here, the Associated Press has named its preseason All-Americans for 2024.

Ohio State leads all programs with 4 first-team selections. Georgia and Michigan were next with 3 each.

The SEC is the top conference in first-team selections with 10, followed by 8 from the Big Ten and 4 from the ACC.

Here’s the full team:

First-team offense:

Quarterback — Carson Beck, fifth-year, Georgia.

Running backs — Ollie Gordon II, third-year, Oklahoma State; Omarion Hampton, third-year, North Carolina.

Tackles — Will Campbell, third-year, LSU; Kelvin Banks Jr., third-year, Texas.

Guards — Donovan Jackson, fourth-year, Ohio State; Tate Ratledge, fifth-year, Georgia.

Center — Parker Brailsford, third-year, Alabama.

Tight end — Colston Loveland, third-year, Michigan.
