On Monday, we take one more step to get closer to the start of the college football season. The preseason Associated Press poll will be released with less than two weeks until the start of the season.

You don’t have to wait until Monday to see how one writer voted, though. Stadium’s Brett McMurphy is giving fans a quick look at his submitted Top 25 for the AP poll.

McMurphy included five B1G teams in his Top 25, putting Ohio State at No. 2. He also included Penn State in the Top 10, landing in the No. 8 spot.

Here’s a look at McMurphy’s complete Top 25:

  1. Alabama
  2. Ohio State
  3. Oklahoma
  4. Georgia
  5. Clemson
  6. Texas A&M
  7. Iowa State
  8. Penn State
  9. North Carolina
  10. Oregon
  11. Notre Dame
  12. Wisconsin
  13. Texas
  14. Cincinnati
  15. Utah
  16. Miami
  17. Florida
  18. USC
  19. LSU
  20. Arizona State
  21. Washington
  22. Iowa
  23. Oklahoma State
  24. Liberty
  25. Indiana

Those votes are quite a bit different than what we saw from the USA Today Coaches Poll last week. You can view that Top 25 here.

Where will each team officially fall? We’ll find out on Monday.
