Alabama offensive cooridinator/quarterback coach and former Penn State head coach, O’Brien is an interesting name for Arizona State to consider. In his two years at Penn State in 2012 and 2013, O’Brien accounted for an overall record of 15-9 (10-6 record in B1G play).
After Penn State, O’Brien spent 6 and a half seasons with the Houston Texans where he accumulated an overall record of 52-48.
Auburn head coach Bryan Harsin is an interesting candidate to consider. He has accounted for an overall record of 8-8 (3-5 in SEC play) since arriving in 2021.
