Two of the SEC’s remaining opening head coaching vacancies have been filled.

Over the weekend, both Arkansas and Missouri have reportedly reached agreeements with their next head caoches. Arkansas has hired Georgia offensive line coach Sam Pittman and Missouri has reportedly reached an agreement with former Appalachian State head coach Eli Drinkwitz.

Arkansas made the announcement official via Twitter. ESPN’s Chris Low reported the Drinkwitz news.

Also over the weekend, Ole Miss announced that FAU head coach Lane Kiffin will be the next leader in Oxford.

Pittman has spent the last four seasons at Georgia as an associate head coach and offensive line coach. He did work at Arkansas from 2013-15 as an associate head coach and offensive line coach under head coach Bret Bielema.

Drinkwitz is coming off his first season as head coach at Appalachian State, guiding the Mountaineers to a 12-1 season this year. Prior to becoming a head coach, he was the offensive coordinator and quarterback coach at North Carolina State from 2016 through 2018.
