Auburn defender disputes Penn State environment as best in the country: ‘Obviously we have the best’

Auburn edge rusher Derick Hall talked about how the atmosphere at Beaver Stadium is different from Auburn’s. He still thinks that Auburn’s gameday atmosphere is better per Tom Green of AL.com.

Hall is one of the upperclassmen leaders on Bryan Harsin’s team. He played in 11 games for the Tigers in 2021. The game will be played at Auburn this time around, and Hall is ready to play Penn State at Jordan-Hare.

“Penn State believes they have one of the best environments in college football, but obviously we have *the* best,” said Hall. “I know our Orange Out is going to be better than their Whiteout”

Penn State has won 2 of the 3 total meetings against Auburn. Last year’s game was decided by 1 score, to give you an idea of how close it can get. The Nittany Lions won 28-20 at home last season.

Penn State and Auburn play Saturday at 3:30 p.m. ET on CBS.
