The B1G will be involved in some new bowl games all across the country beginning in the 2020 season.
On Tuesday, the B1G announced that it will have partnerships with 11 different bowl games beginning in 2020. The conference will continue to appear in several bowl games it has already been involved with, but there will be a few new locations.
Here’s the list of bowl games the B1G will be involved with starting in 2020:
- Rose Bowl Game presented by Northwestern Mutual (Pasadena, CA)
- Capital One Orange Bowl (Miami, FL)
- Citrus Bowl (Orlando, FL)
- Outback Bowl (Tampa, FL)
- Las Vegas Bowl (Las Vegas, NE)
- Franklin American Mortgage Music City Bowl (Nashville, TN)
- New Era Pinstripe Bowl (Bronx, NY)
- Belk Bowl (Charlotte, NC)
- Cheez-It Bowl (Phoenix, AZ)
- Redbox Bowl (Santa Clara, CA)
- Quick Lane Bowl (Detroit, MI)
The B1G will have a six-year bowl extension with the Citrus, Music City, Outback, Quick Lane and Redbox bowls. It will have six-year agreements with the Belk, Cheez-It and Las Vegas bowls. The conference has extended its agreement with the Pinstripe Bowl through the 2025 season.
The B1G will continue to face a Pac-12 opponent in the Rose Bowl Game through 2025 and has an agreement to sent three teams to face the ACC in the Orange Bowl until 2025.
