B1G basketball coaches talk holiday decoration etiquette

Some of the greatest arguments today stem from holiday decoration etiquette. When is it too early to start hanging up the lights, putting up the Christmas tree and getting into the season? When’s the appropriate time to take down those decorations?

Turns out, B1G basketball coaches are just as conflicted about the right times as the rest of us.

Christmas Day, Big Ten Network posted a video of the B1G basketball coaches talking about holiday decoration etiquette. When is the right time to start preparing for the holiday, and how long after the season is over can the decorations stay up?

Some say as early as the day after Halloween, others said after Thanksgiving. Almost everyone agreed that decorations should start coming down on New Year’s Day, although some said a little longer is fine, too.
