We’ve just gotten a taste, but the start of the college football season has already provided plenty of entertainment.
The first week couldn’t have gone much better if you’re a B1G fan. The conference went 10-2 against non-conference foes, Michigan scored a huge win over Florida and Penn State and Ohio State flexed their muscles. If only Rutgers and Purdue could’ve pulled off the upsets.
Still, it was one of the better opening weekends the B1G has had recently. Though we should be content with the performances on the first week of the season, we can’t help but look forward a little bit and project where each team might land this postseason.
After Week 1, we’re picking 10 B1G teams to go bowling at the end of the 2017 season, with a few teams landing in some favorable destinations.
Here are the B1G bowl projections after the first Saturday of B1G football:
- Heart of Dallas Bowl: Maryland
- Quick Lane Bowl: Indiana
- Pinstripe Bowl: Nebraska
- Foster Farms Bowl: Iowa
- Holiday Bowl: Northwestern
- Music City Bowl: Michigan State
- Citrus Bowl: Michigan
- Outback Bowl: Wisconsin
- Fiesta Bowl: Penn State
- College Football Playoff: Ohio State
