Ohio State is just one step away from College Football Playoff glory.
Wisconsin is just one upset away from claiming a stunning conference championship.
The Big Ten season is down to just one more game as the Buckeyes and Badgers meet this Saturday in the B1G Championship Game, at 8 p.m. ET (Fox) in a rematch from earlier this season. On Oct. 26 Ohio State defeated Wisconsin 38-7 in Columbus.
But we’ll have much more on the B1G title game this week here at Saturday Tradition. For now let’s look at the postseason picture.
As we predicted last week, Michigan State earned its sixth victory to become bowl eligible, while Nebraska did not. That gives the conference nine bowl eligible teams.
We’re still projecting Ohio State to win the league title and give the Big Ten its first representative in the CFP since 2016. After Wisconsin beat Minnesota on Saturday to claim the West Division championship, we think the Badgers will be headed to Pasadena for the Rose Bowl even if they lose to OSU again.
