Today the B1G announced that more than 75 million viewers tuned in over last weekend to conference games.
When Notre Dame and Wisconsin took to the Soldier Field turf last weekend, they were being watched on Fox by an average of 5.369 million viewers. According to sources, that’s a 20% increase as to the number of viewers Fox averaged on a B1G Saturday in 2019.

The news follows ESPN’s announcement that last weekend’s “College GameDay” that aired from State College, Pennsylvania, ahead of Auburn’s game with Penn State, averaged 1.91 million viewers over its three hours — the final hour averaged 2.425 million viewers.
ESPN “College GameDay” airs each Saturday morning during the college football season from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. CT on ESPN and ESPNU, and last weekend’s show was the most viewed “College GameDay” since Thanksgiving week of the 2019 season.
