We’ve made it to the last October Saturday of the 2024 college football season, and there’s a full day of Big Ten football on deck.
Week 9 in the B1G kicked off with another “footprint game.” In Friday night action, Rutgers made the long trip to Los Angeles to face USC. Both teams entered on 3-game skids, and the Trojans managed to get back in the win column with a 42-20 victory.
With 1 game out of the way, we’ve got a 7-game Saturday ahead.
Ohio State hosts Nebraska in the FOX Big Noon spotlight. Both teams are in bounce-back mode after recent conference losses.
ESPN’s College GameDay is in Bloomington for No. 13 Indiana’s home game against Washington. The Hoosiers, the former team of Lee Corso decades ago, are one of the biggest surprises of 2024, Curt Cignetti’s first season.
CBS is spotlighting the only ranked-on-ranked B1G matchup of the day. In its first 2024 game as the No. 1 team in the nation, Oregon hosts No. 20 Illinois.
Northwestern at Iowa and Maryland at Minnesota are two of the other matchups in the afternoon window.
In the evening, NBC is showcasing No. 3 Penn State on the road at Wisconsin. The Big Ten Network, meanwhile, will carry the Michigan State at Michigan rivalry clash.
Here’s the full Week 9 B1G schedule:
- Nebraska at No. 4 Ohio State – 12:00 p.m. ET on FOX
- Washington at No. 13 Indiana – 12:00 p.m. ET on Big Ten Network
