B1G Hoops: Illinois cracks Top 25, five B1G teams ranked in AP Poll

The latest college basketball rankings have been released, and five B1G teams are still listed in the top 25.

Plenty of change occurred in the latest rankings for B1G teams after all five ranked teams lost over the weekend. Michigan State, Maryland and Ohio State all dropped in the poll, but remained inside the top 25. Michigan is still at the No. 19 spot and Penn State received votes, but did not crack the rankings.

Illinois is making its first appearance in the rankings since 2014 after a 71-70 win over Wisconsin on the road and a home victory over Rutgers.
