The Big Ten Network has been going around to the different sites across the conference and today’s stop was at Rutgers.

Joshua Perry took in their practice today and shared his 3 main takeaways with everyone via the Big Ten Network’s Twitter page.

The first thing that jumped out at Perry was how skillful they look.

“The skill on this team is pretty daggone good,” Perry said. “When you look offensively, you’ve got (Isaiah) Pacheco who people are familiar with. Aron Cruickshank, who is a transfer from Wisconsin a couple of years ago. You’ve got Bo Melton, and that trio right there is going to make a lot of noise on the field.”

Perry also seems really high on a lot of the younger players on this Rutgers roster.

“The young players that they brought in as freshmen I think are going to be some impact players later on in their career,” he added.

Perry ended the video with his takeaway on how competitive the team is and how well-coached they are.

They’ll have to prove that for the 2021 season as they open with Temple on Sept. 2 at 6:30 p.m. ET.
