Sunday night will feature an NFL game for the history books.

The NFC Divisional Playoff game between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the New Orleans Saints will pit quarterbacks Tom Brady and Drew Brees against each other. The duo features two of the all-time greatest to play the quarterback position and their combined age (85 years, 169 days) is the highest of two QB’s to face each other, ever.

B1G alumni, Brady is a former Michigan Wolverine, while Brees is a former Purdue QB.

Brady and Brees rank No.1 and No. 2 all-time on the NFL career passing touchdown list, making Sunday night’s game the first time that has ever happened in a playoff game.

Aside from winning games, the pair have accumulated monstrous stats. They have combined to throw for 159,562 yards and 1,152 touchdowns in their careers and are the only quarterbacks who have surpassed 72,000 yards and 540 touchdowns.

Brady has six championships and a .769 winning percentage over 21 seasons. Brees has one Super Bowl triumph and a .601 winning percentage in 20 seasons.

The winner of Sunday’s game will advance to the NFC Championship Game against Green Bay next Sunday, Jan. 24, at Lambeau Field.

The showdown between Brees and Brady will be broadcast on FOX with a kickoff time of 6:40 pm EST.
