B1G releases full 2021-22 men’s conference basketball schedule

B1G football just kicked off but it’s never too early to start thinking about hoops. The B1G recently released its full 2021-22 men’s conference basketball schedule. Each program will have a 20-game conference slate.

The first day of conference play will be on Dec. 3 when Iowa travels to face Purdue and Illinois hosts Rutgers.

Illinois defeated Ohio State to capture last season’s conference tournament title. Michigan won the B1G regular season title with a conference record of 14-3.

There’s going to be plenty of highly anticipated matchups during conference play.

Iowa hosts Illinois on Dec. 6. Michigan State travels to take on rival Michigan on Jan. 8. Ohio State has a road matchup at Wisconsin on Jan. 13. Purdue at Indiana is slated for Jan. 20.

The B1G conference schedule runs from Dec. 3-March 6. Conference play will break from Dec. 11-Jan. 2. This season’s B1G tournament is slated for March 9-13 and will be held at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.
