Week 9 of the college football season is in the books, and we are in the final month of the college football season.
Two B1G players won awards for their play in this weekends’ games. PFF gave its Offensive Player of the Week Award to Michigan State’s RB Kenneth Walker III.

Against Michigan, Walker had 23 carries for 197 yards on 8.5 yards per carry and 5 touchdowns.
Walker has rushed the ball 175 times for 1,194 yards on 6.8 yards per carry and 14 touchdowns this season. He also has a receiving touchdown on the year.
Walker is one of the front runners for college football’s most prestigious award, the Heisman Trophy.
On the defensive side of the ball, LB Jalen Graham won PFF’s Defensive Player of the Week award. Graham against the Huskers had 6 total tackles against the Huskers, 5 solo tackles, 2 interceptions for 45 yards and a touchdown.
This season Graham has had 33 tackles, 26 solo tackles, 6 pass deflections, 3 tackles for loss, 2 interceptions, 1 forced fumble and 1 touchdown.
No. 5 Michigan State is on the road to face Purdue next week at 3:30 ET on ABC.
