B1G targeting 5 programs, including Notre Dame, per report

Washington joined Oregon, Stanford and Cal as teams to reach out to the B1G recently, per a report from Action Network’s Brett McMurphy.
It’s been know that the B1G is not one expanding after adding USC and UCLA, but the addition of four new teams would be quite the campaign. But that’s not all.
Notre Dame has also been in the mix with the B1G, a move that makes sense given the school’s current independent nature and proximity to B1G country.
Washington is latest Pac-12 school to meet w/Big Ten about joining the conference, sources told @ActionNetworkHQ. Huskies’ meeting w/B1G comes a week after Oregon met w/BIG. Big Ten targeting 4 Pac-12 schools & Notre Dame as new members, sources said https://t.co/CyfWwbzWC9

Is this a good move for the B1G? Is 21 potential teams, assuming all five programs agree to enter the B1G (which is a big assumption) a feasible outcome?
