College football got under way a week ago and all of the Big Ten teams have one contest under their belts.
The NFL, however, is starting Thursday night. The Chicago Bears are hosting the Green Bay Packers in the 100th season of the NFL and the league is using arguably the best rivalry in the sport to help celebrate the occasion.
Ahead of the professional action getting under way, several Big Ten teams and coaches used social media to wish their former players well:

To nobody’s surprise, the Big Ten is not only rich with tradition, but talent as well. As the NFL begins its 100th season, the B1G will have hundreds of players making up the highest level of football there is.
