Ah, yes. The everlasting debate as to which football conference is better, the Big Ten or the SEC? We hear it every single year.

Well, in terms of bowl games, which conference is better? Which has made the most amount of New Year’s Six bowl game appearances since the College Football Playoff era began in 2014?

The answer isn’t an obvious one. That’s because it’s neither. The B1G and SEC are tied at 17. Next best? The ACC with 11.

There are a number of different numbers people can point to that lead people to believe either conference is better than the other. Big Ten or SEC?

Why not both?

Because then there’s no debating going on. That’s why.
