A Louisville wide receiver will be heading to Madison.

Wisconsin received a verbal commitment from 3-star wide receiver Vinny Anthony on Wednesday. The 6-foot-1, 170-pound receiver held more than a dozen offers, selecting the Badgers over Duke, Air Force, Army, Cincinnati, Eastern Michigan, Liberty and others.

Anthony’s decision came just a few days after an official visit to Wisconsin’s campus. He’s the 10th player in the 2022 recruiting class to commit to the program.

The Badgers currently own the No. 10 recruiting class in the B1G and No. 34 nationally.

Per 247Sports, Anthony ranks as one of the Top 10 players from the state of Kentucky. He’s also just outside the Top 100 wide receivers in the class, coming in at No. 109.

June has been a busy month for Wisconsin as nine players have committed since the end of the recruiting dead period by the NCAA. Anthony is the second wide receiver to pledge, joining Michigan native Tommy McIntosh.
