Barney Amor must have seen some Tory Taylor highlights before the Ohio game. He dropped a great punt early in the 2nd quarter to pin Ohio’s offense inside their own 5-yard line.
The other members of the Penn State special teams also played a part in downing the punt. It ending up being a great opportunity for the Nittany Lions’ defense.
Can’t do it much better than @PennStateFball just did. 💯#ForTheBrand x @barneyamor pic.twitter.com/hovLhtHeK3

The poor field position as a result of Amor’s punt lead to a Penn Sate safety, making it 16-0. This happened on the very next play following the punt. Ohio tried to run the ball, fumbled and recovered it, but was tackled in their own end zone.

Penn State is off to a pretty good start against Ohio. Nick Singleton is running the ball well, with 81 yards rushing and 1 touchdown so far. Sean Clifford has also found the end zone with his legs. He has 25 yards rushing with 1 score as well.
This will be Penn State’s last tune-up game before a rematch with Auburn. Last season, the Tigers almost pulled off the upset against the 10th-ranked Nittany Lions.
