Justin Fields is getting his first in an NFL uniform.
Tuesday morning, Chicago head coach Matt Nagy revealed that Fields will be getting the start for the preseason finale vs. Tennessee. Andy Dalton, who has been slotted as the Week 1 starter for the Bears, will not play.
Fields’ NFL career got off to a rocky start in the Bears’ preseason opener against Miami, but he quickly got things on track. He finished that game completing 14-of-20 passes for 142 yards and a touchdown while also rushing for 33 yards and a score.
