The Little League World Series Championship is today and the two teams playing are Ohio vs. Michigan.

If you are a college football fan of any kind, you know that there is bad blood between Ohio State and Michigan.

Before the game, the Ohio State Buckeyes wished the Ohio little league team good luck and not calling their arch-nemesis by name.

Ohio State does not refer to Michigan as Michigan; they only refer to them as that team up north.

Ohio beat South Dakota on Saturday, Aug. 28, 5-2 in the semifinals to advance to Sunday’s Aug. 29 championship game. Michigan ended up in a pitcher’s duel against Hawaii, winning 2-1 on Saturday, Aug. 28, to advance to the Championship game Sunday, Aug. 29.

The championship is currently going on where Michigan leads Ohio 3-1 in the top of the 2nd. You can catch all the action on ABC.
