Benjamin St. Juste had a big role in the win for the Washington Commanders. His tackle at the goal line in the fourth quarter ended the Chicago Bears’ comeback.

St. Juste was picked by the Commanders in the third round of the 2021 NFL Draft. He has 18 total tackles so far this season.

He tackled Bears’ WR Darnell Mooney after Justin Fields tried to hit him on a quick pass with under a minute to go in the game. The play was reviewed, and it was deemed that Mooney was short of the goal line.

Thanks to St. Juste’s efforts on the final play, the Commanders are now 2-4. However, they have a lot of ground to make up in the NFC East. Washington is in last place in the division as the Philadelphia Eagles (5-0), Dallas Cowboys (4-1), and New York Giants (4-1) are in front.

St. Juste might have given Washington the push it needs. The Commanders play the Green Bay Packers next in Week 7 on Oct. 23 at 1 p.m. ET on FOX.
