Athlon Sports surveyed 35 Big Ten media members on who the conference’s best player is. At the top of that list, of course, was Ohio State’s Joey Bosa.
The preseason All-American was one of four Buckeyes that finished in the top six of the player rankings. Ezekiel Elliott came in at No. 2 while J.T. Barrett was No. 4 and Cardale Jones was ranked No. 6. Both non-Buckeyes came from Michigan State.
The point system was assigned, giving 15 points for a player with a No. 1 vote, 14 points for a No. 2 vote, 13 points for a No. 3 vote and etc.
