Recently, a website called Best College Reviews ranked those college towns across the country. Here is the description of everything taken into consideration for the rankings:
There are a lot of things that have to click to make a truly great college town. Whether it’s feeling the palpable vibe of an alma mater, having tons to do, or the fact that your college town is a great place to stay after you’ve graduated, we’ve worked to provide you with a quality list of the best college towns in the nation…Livability, student-to-resident ratio, cultural offerings, school presence and large employers.
From their rankings, the B1G had a great showing inside the top 10. Ann Arbor (Michigan) took the No. 2 overall spot while Madison (Wisconsin) was right behind at No. 3.
Also inside the top 10 were State College (Penn State) and Iowa City (Iowa). Champaign (Illinois) and Minneapolis (Minnesota) also landed in the top 25.
