Remember when Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney ranked Ohio State as the No. 11 team in the country on his Coaches Poll ballot? So does Ryan Shazier. He’s quick to remind Swinney of how dumb that was, too.
Shazier, an Ohio State legend, joined The Late Show with Seth Meyers this week, and used the opportunity to troll Swinney’s ranking of the Buckeyes before the College Football Playoff. As you’ll remember, Ohio State had no trouble with Clemson in the Sugar Bowl, taking down the Tigers 49-28 to advance to the national championship.
While speaking with Meyers, Shazier revealed that he had a special T-shirt for the appearance. He couldn’t make an appearance on national television without trolling Clemson and Swinney.
The shirt reads “Best Damn No. 11 Team in the Land.”
Love that shirt, @RyanShazier! pic.twitter.com/DQwgGPbnMh

Throwing shade at Swinney for that ridiculous ranking — and then the end result from the Sugar Bowl — is never going to get old for Ohio State. It was a strange thing for the Clemson head coach to do, especially knowing there was a good chance he’d see the Buckeyes in the College Football Playoff semifinal game.
As Shazier proved this week during the interview, it’s still pretty fun to troll Clemson and Swinney.
