Win, and they’re in.

That appears to be the case for Ohio State this weekend, as the Buckeyes put a 5-0 record on the line against Northwestern in the B1G Championship Game on Saturday. For the No. 4 team in the country, a win in the conference title game appears to be enough to get into the College Football Playoff.

FOX’s Big Noon Kickoff crew appears to agree with that sentiment, too.

On the night before Ohio State and Northwestern are set to square off, Brady Quinn, Matt Leinart and Urban Meyer discussed the impact that a win for the Buckeyes in the B1G title game would have on their College Football Playoff hopes. It’s pretty much a consensus opinion that, assuming OSU gets the win, it’ll be one of the four teams in the field.

With a win, Ohio State would improve to 6-0 on the season with victories over No. 11 Indiana and No. 14 Northwestern on the resume. The Buckeyes other four wins have come against Nebraska, Penn State, Rutgers and Michigan State.

Kickoff between Ohio State and Northwestern is set for 12 p.m. ET with the game airing on FOX. It will be the second meeting in three years in the B1G Championship Game.
