The Big Noon Kickoff crew laid out how the Purdue Boilermakers can pull off an upset in the B1G Championship Game.
The Boilermakers are big underdogs against the undefeated Michigan Wolverines in Indianapolis.
“This is a capable team, they have enough firepower on the offense. The concern is defensively when you talk about the line of scrimmage, the running game… Purdue, 8th in the B1G in rushing defense,” said Matt Leinart. “They’re going to need to figure out how to slow down Donovan Edwards and company.”
Brady Quinn agreed with Leinart’s sentiment, saying “they have all the pieces to pull off the upset. Jeff Brohm is 3-0 in his last 3 games against top-3 teams.”

It will help the Boilermakers that star Michigan RB Blake Corum will miss the game due to injury. However, JJ McCarthy and Donovan Edwards proved capable enough on their own against Ohio State.
