Northwestern football maybe around 17% in ESPN’s FPI to win the Big Ten title, but they’re sitting at 60-to-1 to win the national championship, and at least three bets have gone down on the B1G Cats to pull off the ultimate shocker.
According to David Payne Purdum, Super Book Sports has taken two $50 bets and another for $5 on the 5-0 Wildcats to find a way to the national championship game and win. Those bets were logged at an incredible 1,000-to-1 odds before Northwestern was bumped to 60-to-1.

The undefeated Wildcats are now 60/1.
That is definitely a bold way to put your money where your mouth is. But the payout would certainly be massive.
Many things with Northwestern football are a long shot—but last week they proved they were more than just a bunch of “Fighting Rece Davis’s”—and they may yet be able to defy even more insurmountable odds, getting themselves crowned college football national champions and making at least three bettors amongst the happiest individuals in America.
