Defending national champion Indiana has landed a league-high three football players on the Big Ten’s preseason honors list.
Hoosiers wide receiver Charlie Becker, linebacker Rolijah Hardy and defensive lineman Tyrique Tucker were a part of the 12-player list released by the conference Tuesday.
Ohio State landed two players on the list – quarterback Julian Sayin and wide receiver Jeremiah Smith. Oregon and Rutgers each earned two spots, as the Buckeyes placed quarterback Dante Moore and defensive back Koi Perich on the list and the Scarlet Knights placed wide receiver KJ Duff and running back Antwan Raymond.
Iowa offensive lineman Kade Pieper, Minnesota defensive lineman Anthony Smith and USC quarterback Jayden Maiava rounded out the Big Ten preseason honors.
Eight of this year’s Big Ten preseason honorees —Tucker, Smith, Sayin, Smith, Moore, Maiava, Duff and Antwan Raymond — are scheduled to attend Big Ten Media Days this week.

Indiana begins defense of its College Football Playoff title Sept. 5 at home against North Texas (Noon ET, Fox). The Hoosiers have a huge test Oct. 17 at home Ohio State later in the schedule and take on Michigan in Ann Arbor the next weekend.
Ohio State opens the season Sept. 5 at home against Ball State (12:30 pm ET, Big Ten Network) and Oregon opens Sept. 5 at home against Boise State (3:30 pm ET, CBS).
