Blake Corum has made it official. The 2023 season is his final year in maize and blue.
Corum said that Saturday’s home win over Purdue was his last night game in the Big House. The Wolverines are on the road in Weeks 11 and 12 before hosting Ohio State at noon ET for The Game.
Absolutely no surprise, but Blake Corum said “In the Trenches” that this is his final year at Michigan:
“This is my last night game in the Big House. It was beautiful, man. I’m definitely gonna miss it, but time’s coming to an end. Embrace it. Enjoy the rest of the ride.”

Corum is in Year 4 of his Michigan career. He has played in 39 games over his career. Though he never used a redshirt, the NCAA’s COVID-19 waiver for the 2020 season gave him the option to return in 2024 for a 5th season.
Last season, Corum earned Unanimous First-Team All-American recognition. He made 12 starts, carrying Michigan to another Big Ten title with 1,463 yards rushing yards on 247 attempts, scoring 18 touchdowns on the ground.
This season, Corum has rushed 126 times for 649 yards and 16 touchdowns. Corum and the Wolverines face their biggest test of the season so far at Penn State in Week 11.
U-M fans will look forward to watching Corum play professionally. They hope it’s after he brings a championship to Ann Arbor.
