The running game for the No. 25 Michigan Wolverines has been impressive in three games this season. History has been made in their dominating performance over Northern Illinois. Wolverines sophomore running back Blake Corum is the first running back this century to account for three rushing touchdowns in back-to-back games.

Corum has currently rushed for 125 yards and three touchdowns on eight carries against Northern Illinois. In the previous game at home against Washington, Corum rushed for 171 yards and three touchdowns on 21 carries.
The rushing offense of the Wolverines looks to be big this season as Michigan. The Wolverines have rushed for 351 yards and eight touchdowns on 38 carries with over nine minutes left in the game against Northern Illinois.
Michigan is currently ahead 63-3 against Northern Illinois.
