Blake Corum is feeling good about No. 4 Michigan’s 29-7 home win over its rival in Michigan State in Week 9 to get back the Paul Bunyan Trophy. After the game, Corum was interviewed by WXYZ Detroit on the win over Michigan State and the Wolverines moving forward:

“It feels great, I was 0-2 against them until today,” said Corum. “It feels great, we came out here and balled. Couple minor things to fix, gotta score in the red zone, but overall a great game, great performance. I’m happy.”

As for the confidence moving forward, Corum pointed out that an 8-game winning streak signifies a “rampage” per head coach Jim Harbaugh. Whatever that means, it sure sounds like it’s a testament to a team firing on all cylinders entering Week 10:

“Sky’s the limit, like Coach Harbaugh says, if you go 8-0 you’re on a rampage. We’re officially on a rampage,” explained Corum.”

Corum rushed for 177 yards and a touchdown on 33 carries as well as adding a 2-yard touchdown reception in the second quarter.

Michigan’s win in Week 9 is the first win over Michigan State since 2019 when the Wolverines won 44-10. Michigan is currently No. 4 in the AP Poll with an overall record of 8-0 and a 5-0 record in B1G play.
