Michigan running back Blake Corum has already surpassed his career high in touchdowns — and it’s not even the second half.
Corum has 4 touchdowns at the half as Michigan leads UConn big 38-0. The Wolverines’ offense has been on another level in this one.
Corum’s first touchdown came just two minutes into the game when he scored on a 20-yard run. He then capped off a 54-yard drive by punching in a 1-yard run to give Michigan a 14-0 lead.
His third touchdown came in the second quarter on another 1-yard run to cap off a Michigan drive. His final touchdown of the half came in the final three minutes when he punched one up the middle to give Michigan a monster 38-0 lead. Corum also has 47 rushing yards.
While it’s clear Michigan is going to win the game, it is now just a matter of how big that margin of victory will be. Michigan has already pulled its starting quarterback, but there’s a chance Corum could say in the game as he is on par for 8 touchdowns.
