Blake Corum’s decision to return to Michigan set social media on fire. Michigan’s leading rusher is back for another season in 2023.
Corum was having a great year before a knee injury against Illinois cut his season short. Corum was not able to play much against Ohio State and missed both the B1G title game and Fiesta Bowl because of it.
Corum acquired 1,463 yards rushing on the ground and scored 19 total touchdowns. Michigan was able to repeat as B1G champs, but lost in the Fiesta Bowl to TCU in Corum’s absence.
Michigan fans went nuts after the news broke on Monday. Some were predicting that Corum would be the Heisman Trophy winner next season, while others simply lost their minds.
There’s no telling how high Corum would have gone in the 2023 NFL Draft, but that won’t matter as he will be looking improve his stock next season.
Here are some of the better reactions to the news on social media;

We had Blake Corum graded to go in round 2. Others graded him to go in the 3rd round. He is a tremendous talent comparable to Kenneth Walker III in terms of contact balance. Corum loses a year in the NFL, but will earn year one 3rd round money from NIL.
