Bo Pelini is getting ripped on social media again as LSU’s defense gets torched by Missouri

Bo Pelini’s reception at LSU is not going well. The Tigers are just three games into the season, but the way the defense has played as a lot of folks questioning whether or not head coach Ed Orgeron made the right hire.

Pelini came under fire after LSU’s season0-opening loss to Mississippi State, allowing quarterback K.J. Costello an SEC record 623 yards and 5 touchdowns in a 44-34 Bulldogs victory in Week 1. Things aren’t going much better this week, as the Tigers traveled to Columbia to take on Missouri.

The score was tied 24-24 at the end of the first half, and Oregon wasn’t pleased with how the defense was playing.

“We can’t stop anything right now, need to be better on 3rd down,” he said entering the locker room.

That, alone, prompted some serious criticism on social media. But a wide open, 41-yard touchdown pass from Connor Bazelak to Micah Wilson early in the 3rd quarter prompted more outrage among the LSU faithful. There wasn’t a defender within yards of the play:
