Purdue football has a lot of momentum heading into the 2022 season. The fans are really starting to see that too, as the football team broke the new season ticket sales on social media.
The Boilermakers had a 9-4 finish to the 2021 season, with a victory over Tennessee in the Music City Bowl. With Aidan O’Connell back at QB, there is a lot of reason to believe that Purdue could challenge for a B1G West title once again. Especially after Jeff Brohm just had his contract extended through 2027 in April.
Purdue announced that there has been 4,500 new season tickets sold ahead of the 2022 season. The Boilermakers open the 2022 season with a home game against Penn State on Sept. 1 at 8 p.m. ET on FOX.
New season ticket holders continue to secure their seats for the 2022 ride 🚂
