Selection Sunday is now less than 10 days away, and the Big Ten’s regular season is drawing to a close.

Joe Lunardi released his latest bracket projection on Thursday night, and it includes multiple Big Ten teams as No. 1 seeds.

A total of nine Big Ten squads made the Field of 68 in Lunardi’s latest update. Here’s the Big Ten’s seed list going into Friday:

  • No. 1 Michigan
  • No. 1 Illinois
  • No. 2 Ohio State
  • No. 2 Iowa
  • No. 4 Purdue
  • No. 6 Wisconsin
  • No. 9 Maryland
  • No. 10 Rutgers
  • No. 11 Michigan State

In this scenario, Michigan State would be amongst the field’s final four teams into the tournament. That means the Spartans would appear in the play-in round, traditionally played in Dayton.

Lunardi also has Iowa and Michigan matched up in the same region of the bracket, which would set up a very intriguing Elite Eight matchup between the two sides.

Penn State, Minnesota and Indiana were not included in Lunardi’s Field of 68 or as one of the first eight teams on the bubble.

The Big Ten Tournament begins on March 10 in Indianapolis. Selection Sunday is on March 14.
