Brad Underwood, Chiefs super fan, prefers talking Super Bowl ahead of Penn State game

Brad Underwood is a very proud Kansas City Chiefs fan, and he doubled down on that support on Monday even as his Illinois team prepared to take on Penn State. Underwood obviously enjoyed the Chiefs winning the Super Bowl on Sunday.
“You guys think I want to talk about Penn State? You’re full of shit,” he said. “I’m talking straight Chiefs here. … Best quarterback, maybe all time, did what he did and we’ve got an office full of guys who aren’t Chiefs fans, so we were having a little fun today in the office. You don’t get to gloat very often and I guess we do more than most, it’s 2 in 4 years. Little extra punch today, we’re the greatest.”
Underwood then reacted to the late holding call, and said if calls could be rescinded, Illinois would have 5 or 6 more wins this season.
“It was a good night at the Underwood household,” he said. “The chicken wings were good, the charcuterie board was off the chart and the tall ice water was good as well, and we celebrated.”
Illinois and Penn State are set to meet at 7 p.m. on Tuesday.
Chatted with Chiefs super fan (and also, you know, Illinois head coach) Brad Underwood this morning about tomorrow’s game against Penn State.
