Brady Quinn and Urban Meyer are with the FOX Big Noon Kickoff crew in Bloomington this weekend, but that won’t stop them from talking about Ohio State. The crew talked about the safest bets to make the College Football Playoff.

Quinn and Meyer explained why Ohio State will have the best shot of making it from the B1G. The Buckeyes have dominated every team that they have played other than Notre Dame in the season opener.

One of the reasons that Quinn thinks the Buckeyes can do it is because of how the team has responded with Jaxon Smith-Njigba being out. Emeka Egbuka and Marvin Harrison Jr. have carried the load and made C.J. Stroud’s life a lot easier.

“Bottom line is, they have looked like the most complete team in college football this year,” said Quinn. “They’ve won every game by double digits. C.J. Stroud is leading the No. 1 offense in the FBS. He’s doing it without Jaxon Smith-Njigba, his leading receiver from a year ago.”

Shockingly, Meyer went with the Buckeyes too. The former Ohio State HC thinks that the Buckeyes have a very easy path to the playoff.

“To me it’s all about the pathway,” said Meyer. “They’re at least a seven-point favorite every game. They’ve got the Wolverines at home in The Game. In the B1G Championship game they could be a three-touchdown favorite.”

Can Ohio State return to the playoff after missing out a season ago?
