Braelon Allen enjoyed a ton of success in the games against Nebraska during his career at Wisconsin. He finished with a record of 3-0 against the Cornhuskers and rushed for 382 yards and 5 touchdowns in those games. His best game was as a freshman in 2021, when he rushed for 228 yards and 3 touchdowns.

Wisconsin had won 10 straight as a program over Nebraska, but that ended on Saturday as the Cornhuskers knocked off the Badgers 44-25. After the game, the former Badgers star running back voiced his frustration with the loss on X.

Allen simply said “Not Nebraska.” with some exasperated emojis included.

It was the Badgers defense that really struggled on Saturday, as the unit gave up 44 points and 473 yards of total offense. Nebraska freshman quarterback Dylan Raiola looked like the QB from early in the season while throwing for 293 yards and 1 touchdown. Running back Emmett Johnson had 113 yards, and fellow running back Dante Dowdell had 41 yards and 3 touchdowns.

The winner of this game became bowl-eligible with Nebraska reaching the mark for the first time since 2016. Meanwhile, Wisconsin moves on to a must-win situation against Minnesota if the Badgers want to reach a bowl for the 23rd straight season.

Wisconsin ends the regular season next week vs. Minnesota, who lost a heartbreaking game to Penn State by a score of 26-25.
