Some quarterbacks do commercials in the offseason. Some go into shutdown mode and get away from the limelight. Others wrestle crocodiles.
That’s what former Purdue quarterback Drew Brees did this offseason. There was a camera there and everything. That’s because Brees will be on “Running Wild” with Bear Grylls on Tuesday night at 9 p.m. on ESPN.
“I don’t know how I had to basically end up wrestling a crocodile,” Brees said. on the show. “I know that’s something that’s certainly not something that’s in my football contract.”
Here’s a preview of what Brees did with the man, the myth, the legend that is Bear Grylls.

If Brees is still seeking thrills after his football days are over, he might have himself a future as Grylls’ sidekick.
