#illini head coach Bret Bielema didn’t rule out Josh McCray for Saturday but said his availability will depend on how his body responds in the next few days.

McCray has played just one game this season against Wyoming, essentially forcing Chase Brown to take the reigns of the rushing offense by himself. In his one game, McCray tallied 8 carries for 31 yards.
Still, he’s a big piece for depth and perhaps more importantly, giving Brown a break for a play or 2. Against a stout Iowa defense, that’s even more important.
