Iowa is 4-2 this season and one major reason for the Hawkeyes success has been sophomore quarterback Nate Stanley.
A Menominee, Wis. native, Stanley has thrown for 1,290 yards, 15 touchdowns and just two interceptions this season.
The 6-foot-5, 212-pound quarterback saw action in seven games last year, completing five of nine pass attempts for 62 yards as a true freshman.
Iowa’s offensive coordinator Brian Ferencz raved about Stanley’s development during his Wednesday press conference:
BF: “Nate Stanley’s efficiency numbers have been impressive. He has exceeded our expectations. Nate has done a good job for us.” #Hawkeyes

BF: Nate Stanley threw the ball 12 times on third down last week and completed nine of them. When you do that, you have a chance. #Hawkeyes
